Ditto the comments on Ampang Park. Great place to run early in the morning. Park is adjacent to a mosque, hotels, and has a mixed crowd of walkers/runners early that falls off during the daytime heat. Water fountains. Ran here several times early in 2004 and had impression that it was safe and frequently patrolled by police.
