Start at the carpark at South Clifton Beach which is 26 kilometers South East of Hobart at an area called South Arm. Run the beach, best on the low tide, and once at the Northern end you have two options. Either up the walking track which is sign posted and located 200 metres from the end of the beach, or scale the cliff gully direct, situated right in the corner of the cliff where it abutts the beach. Once on top there are plenty of tracks around the bluff, generally a nice sea breeze and the occasional sea eagle to watch. Return via the beach or take one of the tracks down off the bluff in a North Westernly direction to the gravel road, which will lead you back to your start point. Distance: 6-8 kilometers.
