The best option for running along the seashore is the 10 kilometers from Jardim dos Namorados at Pituba, near Esso gas station and Habibs restaurant, to Piatã beach. This is the only part along the seashore where the runners have room to run, since at the most beautiful part, 5 kilometers from Rio Vermelho until Porto da Barra, the sidewalk is too narrow and uneven, and sometimes the runners need to run on the road under the risk of accidents.
