When attending the Maritime school at Warsash I thoroughly enjoy a run along the Solent. A path, mainly dirt, follows the Solent for several miles. It is an easy run however rather dark at 6 am in winter. About 2 miles from Warsash, towards Southampton, you can take a path into a large wooded area. The path meanders through forest for approximately 2 miles before returning to the road. This leaves you about 1.5 miles from Warsash. A nice start to a boring school day.
