Best places to run in Luxor seems to be in West Bank. The road that leads to the Valley of Kings is good for fast runs because it is not so crowned that the corniche in the other side of the Nile. It is quite hard to find any other than hard surfaces in Luxor. On the other hand, I was able to run over 300 kilometers in two weeks, so it is much better place for runner than for example Cairo. Egyptians are not used to see runners in Luxor, so be prepared to get a lot of attention while running!
