Centennial Park, covering more than 360 hectares, is located less than five kilometres from Sydney's central business district. In addition to a 2.5 kilometers paved track around the main part of the park, there are numerous trails and places to run along the fenceline and in the woods. Bird life abounds in this park, including rainbow lorikeets, sulphur-crested cockatoos, and a range of other birds. Centennial Park is adjacent to Moore Park and Queens Park and can easily be reached by several buses from Sydney's Central Business District or the eastern beaches.
