Visiting Tirana? Come to the park and run. In the always crowded park of the city, you can safely run among many other runners, young, old, male and female. The park side offers hilly trails and asphalt stretches, winding through the trees, which gives good shadowing in the dry hot summers. You can clock your 5K round the lake (5340 meters, half road, half trail); or you can run a flat speedwork on the 600 meters dyke. Also you can run an uphill strength training to the orthodox church and brothers Frasheri; or finally you can go fartlek on the numerous trails. Under the amphitheatre is the welcoming clubhouse of the Tirana Running Club. If you plan to stay for some time in Tirana, join the club for a few dollars and you can use all facilities, but above all do it for the friendship! Bye and see you on the run.
