Near Paris there is the Forêt de Meudon where you can run for kilometers, let alone near, around and even in the Observatoire park there are small lakes and a terrasse were it is possible to see part of Paris. You can also go to Velizy on one side, and to the Coulée verte in Meudon where you can also run down to Paris.
