Running on the streets of Chiechou City is almost impossible. Chiechou City, a small city in comparision to Bejing is located in the interior and to the southwest of Bejing. But as with Bejing, the mass of people, carts, animals, vehicles, etc. make it difficult to run on the streets. However, pleasant runs can take place in hotel courtyards where laps in the yard away from the traffic and pollution are possible. In Chiechou City, the main hotel courtyard is relatively small and one lap is about one half mile. Residence from the worker's quarters on the outside edges of the courtyard can provide an audience as they do their morning Tai Chi exercises and count your laps as you go by. Enjoy your hotel laps.
