My favorite area in Caracas for running is Parque Los Caobos. I park my car in Caracas Hilton Hotel and I am in Parque Los Caobos. While you are running, you can see squirrels, tropical birds and tropical trees. There is a special path (not asphalted) for runners of 2.5 kilometers. It is flat. It is near the downtown of the city, and has lots of runners there in the mornings. The average altitude of the park is 900 meters. The name of the park comes from a lot of tropical trees called "caobos".
