As I live on Puxi-side and like do have some longer runs (12-20 kilometers) outside, my favorite course is along the Suzhou creek. Here traffic is only little and some smaller residential parks green the waterside. Some are still under construction. In the eastern part you can run on either sides of the creek on paved roads. Mostly I come arriving from Taixing Lu from the south to the river and follow it up to the west through Moganshan Lu. In the end you turn right and cross the only big road. Then you follow the creek further to the west and switch sides behind Mengqing Park. Then you follow the creek on the northern bank as long as you like... Way back is unluckily the same.
