I am living in Pudong, near Century Park, now for half a year and addicted to long runs (15k or more). So far I have found a few decent runs, quite safe, not too much traffic: Century Park is really worth the 10 RMB fee, especially in the early morning. Probably the best escape from all the traffic. The route around the park is also good to run and a little further there is also a nice, safe road around the new exhibition center. On this road there is also a tunnel to cross the ringroad and on the other side you can go to Jinqiao, which is quite green and traffic there is relatively quiet.
