The Maria Hendrikapark, a gift of King Leopold II to the city of Oostende, is an excellent place for runners. Enjoy the quietness of an early morning run around the Koninginnevijver (Queens' Pond), the Konijnenvijver (Rabbit Pond) and the Spiegelmeer (Mirror Lake) which are part of this marvellous 100 acres large park. You are bound to meet a few other runners in this genuine piece of nature near the heart of Oostende.
