My favourite course at Bonn is running in the Kottenforst. It is a wooded area on the hills on the western side of Bonn. There are all kinds of roads and paths - and no traffic except bikes and skaters (from time to time). You can start at the bottom of the hill, e.g. in Annaberger Straße at Friesdorf, jog up the slope and then enjoy running a loop around Annaberger Hof farm on fairly even ground. If you really want to run long distances you can run to Bahnhof Kottenforst and take the train back to Bonn - or run the way back (about a marathon distance).
