My favorite place to run in the city is definitely around Zone 14. I usually park somewhere on 10th Avenue, and run towards Las Conchas. I circle it, get back to 10th Avenue, and head to La Canada. I basically run around the complex, against the way, starting from left to right. When I get back to where La Canada starts, if I make it back to where I parked, it is usually around 5 kilometers. If you feel like going for the 10 kilometers you can either do it again (obviously!) where it will be more safe and less traffic, or you can turn to your left when you exit La Canada and follow this: keep running straight till you get to the first big street intersection (about two blocks), turn left and run all the way till the street starts bending uphill to your right. When you finish the hill, you will be either on Las Americas Avenue or on a street parallel to it. It does not matter actually, just turn right again and you will start making your way back. Run straight until you see a McDonald's and turn right again. It will bring you to 10th Avenue again. Well, basically all streets and avenues are parallel to each other, so you won't get lost. I would suggest you running with a buddy if you want to avoid people whistling at you, if not, just ignore them as I do. Have fun!
