One of my favorite runs starts in Evanston. Just north of Northwestern University, on Sheridan Road, is the Bahai Temple. From there you just follow the paved trails and sidewalks south. You can run all the way down into the city. Most of the trails are right along the waters edge, and on a nice summer morning the sun comes up over the lake and turns it into a rippling sea of gold. A must for all.
