The Garrison is basically the track where horse races are held. It is situated in the historic part of St. Michael, and passes by the old barracks building, an old clock tower, and the way is lined with many old, and now disfunctional cannons. The Garrison is used by several people for their early morning runs. Being close to the sea as well, the morning air is especially crisp (for Barbados).
