Johnson City is a newly formed running community. The town is in the process of building a sidewalk around the entire town that can be used for roller blading, biking and running. Not to mention that Johnson City is surrounded by wonderful park lands that have numerous trails for those of you not inclined to pavement. Numerous bike paths are maked on roads listing miles at each sign. It is the perfect place to begin training for a marathon because of the nice weather, shade, and deserted roads that can be used.
