As noted in our legal disclaimer webpage, Run The Planet is not responsible for any harm to health or property in a result from using the running course descriptions and information provided. Any reliance on the information is solely at the user's own risk. This precaution should also be kept in mind when receiving advice where to run from local runners, hotels, and tourist boards. You are responsible for where and when you run, and you should assume the responsibility for your health and property.
Before you start a run, especially one before dawn or after dusk, you should consider if you see it as safe. Even the slightest doubt in your mind should demonstrate to yourself that you do not believe that it is safe to run, and therefore do not run. Running by yourself welcomes numerous dangers, from human dangers in a big city to natural dangers in an isolated desert. Always remember that you are away from home and very vulnerable to cultural differences and mentalities. A beautiful run is not worth an experience that will ruin your vacation or present harm to you.
Be smart, if you have doubts don't do it, try not to run alone, and be responsible for yourself.
