Tempo running

Music can be really advantageous to walk or run at a determined pace. Musical "tempo" (speed) is measured in beats per minute (bpm). As most music falls in between 40 and 250 beats, tempo could be used as an easy indicator to find out the distance covered in a specific period of time. While ballads and slow blues score a low 60-80 beats per minute (too slow to exercise), the bmp value of funk music and waltz is between 90 and 110 beats, rock is between 100 and 130, Latin music is between 120 and 150, and finally jazz is between 125 and 250 beats. Here are a couple of tables that will help walkers and runners achieve a nice three miles training, which is almost five kilometers, while enjoying their favorite tunes.
